In the movie, we meet many people who talk about complementary therapies and their benefits. This includes doctors, scientists, and patients who have used these therapies. The documentary talks about the difficulties that people may have while using different methods for taking care of their health. "The Healing Field" is an interesting book about alternative medicine.
